Helping bees, plants and people
Urban Organic (UK) CIC was started in 2014 to help a wide range of people using Gardening and Beekeeping as therapeutic tools. From our community garden base at N-Vision (Princess Alexandra Blind Home) we operate across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre delivering activity sessions, workshops and other services listed in our Four Pillars section below.
OUR FOUR PILLARS
Bringing people closer to nature
Everything we do is done with a sense of community. We love engaging with people who want to make a difference and work with some wonderful groups along the Fylde Coast from our base at N-Vision where we created the Growing for Life Garden with BIG Lottery Reaching Communities funding.
WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS
Our Events and Workshops are designed to inspire and connect with a wider audience so that more people can learn about Urban Organic whilst picking up some new skills and experiences. All Events and Workshops provide essential income so we may continue with our community projects.
GARDEN DESIGN AND BUILD
If you would like a fresh look to your garden then we can provide anything from a simple planting plan to a fully specified garden design. We are also involved in developing gardens, helping them to reach their full potential through careful pruning, planting and renovation. Or there is our Personal Gardening Coach service where we advise on plant identification, how/when to prune and how to manage your garden more effectively. Just contact us for details using the form below.
URBAN ORGANIC SHOP
Through our community projects we produce a range of goods that we sell at local seasonal fairs and at N-Vision Charity Shops. You will can now order some of these goods here online. All goods sold help to fund our ongoing community projects.
